Summary:
Resolution No. 30, Series of 2026 authorizes the Municipal Mayor of Naic, Hon. Rommel Anthony V. Magbitang, to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with neighboring local government units—Magallanes, Naic, Ternate, and Maragondon, collectively referred to as MAGNAMARTE—to establish a collaborative network for disaster risk reduction and emergency response. Anchored on Republic Act No. 10121 or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, the resolution recognizes the shared vulnerability of these municipalities to natural and human-induced hazards such as typhoons, flooding, landslides, and earthquakes. Through this partnership, the LGUs aim to strengthen coordination, resource sharing, emergency response mechanisms, training, and information exchange to enhance disaster preparedness and management. The resolution further provides that the Memorandum of Agreement shall form an integral part of the resolution as Annex “A” and that copies be furnished to all concerned offices for their information and guidance. The Sangguniang Bayan approved the resolution during its 33rd Regular Session held on March 2 2026.
