The resolution authorizes the Local Chief Executive (Municipal Mayor) to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Irrigation Administration – Cavite-Batangas Irrigation Management Office (NIA-CBIMO) for the use and development of a specific property/area under NIA jurisdiction.Its main purpose is to establish a formal partnership between the Municipal Government and NIA to ensure that the identified site can be properly utilized and developed in accordance with government rules and mutual agreements.
